RANT
you know what’s funny that bugs the fuck out of me. besides the legalization of gay marriage (which is still a dumb thing to be celebrating because why would people have to celebrate the right to marry [but that’s a rant for another day]), it took a mass murder of 50+ DEAD people for the LGBTQ+ community to be broadcasted on the news AND EVEN THEN they have the nerve to say it was a terrorist attack. everyone is trying to show their support for the families of the deceased but where the fuck was that support when prop 8 was passed. everyone on the internet showed support for Leelah Alcorn when she died but bet no one knew that LGBTQ are 4 times more likely to commit suicide than people who identity as heterosexual. nobody gave a fuck about gay’s until it came out on the mainstream news, no one gave a fuck about the 14 year old boy that was cornered in a bathroom being verbally attacked and abused because he’s gay. no one else knows what it feels like to be attacked for being in love. everyone’s fighting and they don’t even know what the fuck they’re fighting for.
